Molinos
Location: 116 km from Cafayate, and 92 km from San Carlos, a mountain settlement, founded in the middle of the XVII century, where the rivers Humanao and Luracatao meet, forming the Molino (mill). Its layout is irregular with adobe houses.
The church is an historical monument, built in 1639, where the mummified corpse of the last Spanish governor Don Nicolás Severo de Isasmendi are kept. In front of the Church is the the hacienda (main house) that today is Hostal Molinos. 8 km away, you�??ll find the prehispanic ruins of the Chicoanas. There is also a great vicuña breeding place.
